Chief Operating Officer
Bio
Hi, I’m Cāllie.
Chief Operating Officer | Functional Medicine Operations Director | Operations Director of Sharlin Health Regeneration Center | Neuro Fitness Specialist
As the Chief Operating Officer, Functional Medicine Operations Director, and Operations Director of Sharlin Health Regeneration Center at Sharlin Health & Neurology, I am deeply committed to revolutionizing healthcare and enhancing lives through a hybrid medical approach to well-being, with a specialized focus on Neurology and Functional Medicine.
I’m passionate about creating a space where individuals feel genuinely heard and understood—because getting the right care starts with being truly listened to. I believe that really listening to people sets the foundation for the personalized, transformative care that defines our practice.
My dedication to delivering exceptional results extends across all my roles. As Functional Medicine Operations Director, I integrate conventional medicine with functional medicine principles through personalized precision medicine treatment plans and comprehensive care strategies. I work closely with our integrated team—including Dr. Sharlin, our dietitian, health coach, and specialized practitioners—to empower individuals to reclaim control over their health and vitality.
In addition to my leadership roles, I hold various other certifications and wear many hats within our practice, all focused on ensuring our patients receive the comprehensive, compassionate care that sets Sharlin Health apart. Whether I’m developing neuro fitness protocols, coordinating patient care, or implementing operational improvements, every aspect of my work is driven by a commitment to excellence and genuine care for the people we serve.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Health Service Administration and advanced certifications as a medical fitness specialist, advanced health and wellness coach, Wahls certified health professional, and certified aerial instructor, I am equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver transformative health solutions. My continuous pursuit of education and understanding in the field further underscores my dedication to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.
My Journey to Sharlin Health
In 2015, I had the privilege and opportunity with Dr. Kenneth Sharlin to establish Sharlin Health & Neurology from its inception. Since opening our doors, I have been instrumental in the practice’s strategic growth and evolution, transforming it into a leading integrative neurology and functional medicine center in Southwest Missouri.
I bring over a decade of comprehensive healthcare experience spanning multiple disciplines and operational leadership roles. My background includes clinical operations in behavioral health and emergency medicine, where I developed expertise in staff development, team management, and healthcare systems optimization. I have served in senior management positions, including working directly under Chief Clinical Officers, where I was responsible for recruiting, hiring, and managing clinical nursing staff and front office operations. Additionally, I served as an EMR/EHR systems trainer, implementing and optimizing electronic health record platforms to enhance clinical efficiency and patient care delivery.
I come from a family with a strong management and business background, which played a significant role in my educational and professional choices. Witnessing our practice grow, evolve, and innovate healthcare delivery while—most importantly—helping our patients achieve remarkable results has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.
At Sharlin Health & Neurology, we believe in empowering individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. We are interested in the entire person—mind, body, and spirit. I think it is important to have all aspects of your life in working harmony, and this philosophy carries over into my interactions with our team and patients. With me as your guide and advocate, you can trust that you are in capable hands. Together, we will embark on a journey towards optimal health and wellness, tailored to your unique needs and goals, and making sure you are taking the right next step for you.
Beyond the Office
When I’m not at Sharlin Health, you’ll find me living the well-balanced life I encourage in our patients. I’m blessed to share my life with my wonderful husband and our two children, along with our extended family and beloved pets who keep our home lively and full of love.
My commitment to health and wellness comes alive in my personal life through things like movement—riding bikes and scooters with our kids, rollerblading, playing outside, walking our dog, and strength training. I’m also a certified aerial instructor and love the unique challenge of combining strength, flexibility, and creativity in ways that naturally enhance neuroplasticity. I’m an avid reader who’s always diving into a new book; my love of reading began with the Harry Potter series, which remains a treasured family favorite that we all share. Cooking is truly my love language—there’s nothing better than preparing nourishing meals for the people I care about.
I find joy in simple pleasures—exploring nature through foraging and herb gardening, making memories with our kids at the pool, and satisfying my wanderlust and desire for adventure through travel, whether we’re discovering new places or simply spending time at the beach or in the mountains (though you won’t catch me in the desert!). I’m also an avid crafter who loves working with my hands, whether I’m sewing, painting, or creating handmade decorations and gifts that add personal touches to our home and the lives of those I love.
This passion for providing a well-balanced life for my family carries over into my working life. Setting this example for my children and bringing this holistic approach to our practice is what drives me every day.

Rachel Wemple
Bio
It has been my honor to change people’s lives through food and functional nutrition science. I am the licensed clinical dietitian at Sharlin Health & Neurology. While the clinic is in Ozark, Missouri, I reach people from all over the world who either travel to me or come to them by a virtual meeting. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Missouri State University, I furthered my education in Georgia, where I completed an Augusta Area Dietetic Internship. This provided experiences with end-stage kidney disease, and as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, I helped those afflicted by this devastating condition change the trajectory of their lives.
Here are a few of the things I am passionate about:
- Whole foods nutrition
- Meal plans tailored to the individual that are manageable and fun
- Intermittent fasting and time-restricted eating for whole body optimization
- Targeted supplementation and natural support, such as CBD, omega fatty acid measurements, and re-balancing, the biochemical role for B-vitamins in bioenergetics and methylation support
- Probiotics and the gut microbiome
- Gut-healing protocols, including the reversal of acid reflux and the discontinuation of destructive acid-blocking drugs
Originally from Joplin, Missouri, I have been married to Joshua Wemple for 20 years. I have three wonderful boys – Daniel, Jonah, and Owen. I am so fortunate to have the support of my family in my work and to be able to spend time with them outside of work. Speaking of fortune, I have a terrific dog named Jackpot who gets his name because rescuing him as a pup was like winning the big prize.
I got my passion for health from my father, who is a registered pharmacist. Ironically, he never wanted us, kids, to take medication. A sore throat was treated with gargling saltwater or a steam shower. My mother is a registered nurse. Because chronic diseases are prevalent in my extended family, my mother wanted us to avoid the same fate by feeding us the best home-cooked meals. I took what I learned and helped my Uncle Mark go from 440 pounds to a healthy 195 pounds. The experience transformed both of us and has made me even more determined to help others with similar frustrations.
